In this episode 34 of Streets and Scholars with Frank "FG" Thornton and Alex Alonso they discuss:

1. Former UFC champion Cain Velasquez is still in jail without bail, but now his attorney's Mark Geragos is under investigation by the State Bar of California. They alleged that Los Angeles attorney Brian Kabateck and Geragos spent part of a multimillion-dollar insurance settlement related to the Armenian Genocide. What should Velasquez do now?

2. Does the media and the general public owe PnB Rock's girlfriend an apology? According to the LAPD, the robbery and murder of PnB Rock was part of a conspiracy that was formed when he arrived at the Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles.

3. Freddie Trone, 40, was arrested in Las Vegas in connection to the murder of PnB Rock. His wife, Shauntel Trone was arrested days earlier for accessory to murder and their son, a minor that is reported to be 17-years old was charged with murder and identified as the shooter.

4. Rapper YG just released a new song, “How to Rob a Rapper” off his brand new album. The song feature Mozzy and D3 from the Nickerson Gardens. The song is considered controversial because of the recent tragic death of PnB Rock. Was the song being released insensitive to the recent events?

5. California governor Gavin Newsom signs rap lyric bill AB2799, that prevents California prosecutors from using rappers lyrics or any part of their creative art as evidence against a defendant unless it is directly related to a crime. In the past, using art, videos, music, lyrics was common practice in the criminal courts in California to use against mostly Black and Latino defendants.
